John Pezold was born and raised in the great state of Georgia. His family moved to Columbus when he was just 10 months old and they have lived there ever since. John is a proud graduate from Hardaway High School, class of 1997. Upon graduation, John went on to earn a degree in Finance from Auburn University, class of 2001. He then went on to receive his MBA from Columbus State University, class of 2005.
Hard work has always been a value instilled in John. In fact, he started working in one of his family's stores at the young age of 8! But, John also knew the importance of having good representation in local, state, and Federal government from an early age. John spent the year of 2002 working for esteemed Congressman Mac Collins in his Washington, DC office.
As a self starter, John accepted a sales job working in textiles from 2003 through 2006.
John has always called Columbus his home. He decided it was time to come home and bring his experience to the blooming family business. John began getting heavily involved with the McDonald's franchise in 2006 and was approved as an owner and operator in July 2010. John was the manager of the Bradley Park McDonald's for two years which resides within the bounds of House District 133.
John has been happily married to his wife Ashley since June 12, 2004. Ashley was formerly a CPA but now spends her time selling Real Estate. John and Ashley also have two young children, Eleanor (5 yrs) and Jack (2.5 yrs).
