This legislation requires the Georgia Dept of Ed to post budget & expenditure information online in an effort “to promote transparency in schools”
Details would include: Cost of materials, salaries, benefit packages, facility maintenance, small capital projects, annual budget of local board, etc
The bill also requires local school boards that have a website to post the financial efficiency ratings and that everything required of the DOE can be found on the DOE website.More information on legis.ga.gov
