This legislation deletes and restructures tax credits for those teaching in rotations at hospitals.
--Removes the income tax deduction for doctors who are “community based faculty physicians”
--Defines “preceptor rotation” so a tax credit can be added - when providing “medical students, physician assistant students, or RN’s with 160+ hours of training”
--1st-3rd preceptor rotation is $500 credit - DOCTOR
--4th - 10th preceptor rotation is $1,000 credit - DOCTOR
--1st- 3rd rotation is $375 for PAs and RNs
--4th - 10th rotation is $750 for PAs and RNs
