[Motion to Agree Sen. Sub] HB 341: Crimes and offenses; mandatory terms for trafficking individuals for sexual servitude; provisionsVoted on Tuesday March 28, 2017
John Pezold's thoughts
I voted YEA on the Motion to Agree to the Senate Substitute of HB 341 which adds those who patronize or solicit a person who is the victim of sexual servitude to the offense of sex trafficking. The bill also makes sex trafficking a person for sexual servitute a dangerous sexual offense that places an offender on the sex offender registry.
The bill also adds pimping and pandering to a list of offenses where the offender must serve at least 24 hours of time in jail.More information on legis.ga.gov
