SB 16 expands the list of conditions that are eligible for treatment with medical cannabis oil. The new conditions include: Tourette's syndrome (severe), autism spectrum disorder for persons 18 and older, autism spectrum disorder (severe) for persons under 18, epidermolysis bullosa, Alzheimer's when severe or end-stage, AIDS when severe or end-stage, and peripheral neuropathy.
The bill also allows for reciprocity of medical cannabis registration cards from other states so long as they obey Georgia law.
