SB 168 expands the persons and agencies with permitted access to child abuse records to include licensed adoption agencies of this and any other state which is placing a child for adoption; local and state law enforcement agencies; the Dept. of Corrections; and the Dept. of Juvenile Justice when those entities are providing supervision or services to individuals or families.
The bill also allows local and state agencies to access such records electronically.More information on legis.ga.gov
