SB 206: ‘Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Act’Voted on Monday March 20, 2017
John Pezold's thoughts
SB 206 mandates health insurance coverage for hearing aids for children. Businesses with 10 or less employees are exempt from this measure.
I voted NO because I don't believe the state should be imposing mandates on businesses related to what they must cover for their employees. Additionally, it is inconsistent to mandate aids just for children and not adults.More information on legis.ga.gov
